What are the ingredients? 

We are proud to say both of our formulations are made here in NZ. We as a family (Mum/Dad 13 y/o, 11 y/o but not so much 2 y/o) Bottle, label and post your orders! It’s a family affair and we love it!  

How long did it Take Mollum Clear to begin fading your spots? 

As with anyone the time can vary. We noticed within days the spots had become slightly red and some of the smaller spots had even begun to flatten - Man it was such a relief!! It was around 4 weeks of religiously applying to each spot twice a day and doing a weekly tub soak we got down to only a handful. 

Does your Formula hurt/burn like some of the others 

To date, we have had not had one report of the formula stinging or any discomfort from any of our Molluscum Mamas tribe (this includes our 2-year-old Aubrey). We have had our formulation developed by a brilliant NZ based Naturopath / Cosmetic Chemist. We are confident in our products formula and what our friends, family and recent customers have said! In saying this, please see below with regards to allergies and sensitivities you may have. 

 

Can I make this stuff myself

In short- Yes. I guess you could definitely give it a go, however time is of the essence when it comes to this awful virus. It took our team around 2 months and many many dollars to get our unique formulation right. We also spent allot of time finding the uniquely potent & high-quality source of oregano found in our product. 

We have bottled this baby up to save you time, stress and money.  Mollum clear is an affordable natural pain free alternative to support and help repair your child's skin before forking out $100's of dollars for alternative non-natural options. 

Can you ship Internationally 

yes! we can ship to Australia! But it’s slow due to Covid! 

Who cannot use Mollum Clear? 

Avoid using Mollum Clear it if you’re allergic to mint, sage, basil, or lavender. If you’re allergic to any of these, you may experience sensitivities to our formulation. Consult your medical practitioner before commencing. 

We do not recommend using Mollum Clear if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding.

Talk to your medical practitioner before using on a child under 2 or on any Non-Typical skin types such as dermatitis or eczema-prone skin. 

Consult your specialist before using Mollum Clear if you have any bleeding disorders or are on any medications that alter the clotting of your blood.

Mollum Clear is not recommended for area's that contain a mucus membrane. 

What are the 2 strengths? 

Regular is recommended for everyone over the age of 2! The extra strength is formulated for tougher skin areas such as Elbow or knee- It can also be used in suffers over the age of 5.

Who are you and what’s your deal lady?

Hi, my name is Jess and I am the mum who created Mollum Clear. I have 3 kids+, 1 fur baby. Together with my husband, we all live in the beautiful central north island! We also own an IT company on the Gold Coast! 

We experienced Molluscum Contagiosum last year and I am pretty sure the experience has left me with PSTD. Any spot on any of my kids now, immediately gives me flashbacks of my 2 years old's chest, neck, and bottom covered in the hard waxy spots associated with this Awful virus. 

When we got to the point where the virus finally spread up her neck with another 3 developing on her face, I knew this was moving quick!  The rest of her tiny body had so many spots we could no longer cover them all for kindy... it happened so fast!

A teary me called in the big Guns our amazing cosmetic chemist/ Naturopath and together we set about sorting the problem.

Does it work?

Look, there are many brands out there that will claim that they have unlocked the secret to the “cure “ for Molluscum.

We do not claim such things- Our product may encourages the skins natural response and then helps to assist in the repair.

What is stacking treatments and why shouldn’t I do it?

Stacking is when you use more than one topical remedy at once when your goal is to repair.  We do not recommend this for many reasons, but the main ones are

1. Skin Sensitivities – to much all at once.
2. If something works figuring out which can take time- we don’t want to waste time with this virus.
3. The less fussing around the spots/lesions the more likely your child is to comply with application!
